Trainer Profile:

Muneer Valappil is a Singapore based senior finance professional with over 18 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry, and over 10 years of controllership experience, handling complex corporate structures and financial reporting. He has hands-on experience in financial management, business partnering, designing accounting policies, financial planning, budgeting, internal control, system implementation and monitoring of financial performance. Muneer has extensive operational knowledge of E&P, manufacturing, EPC turnkey projects, LNG development and oilfield services, and he has managed the finance operations of companies ranging from start-ups to large MNCs.

He is currently an independent consultant, and Chief Financial Officer at Fuber International Singapore. He is also involved in investment analysis and portfolio management of private equity and venture capital firms. Muneer is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from Institute of Management Accountants USA, holds an MBA from Madras University and has a bachelor’s degree from University of Calicut, India.
